James Brown influenced music in so many ways, in several genres. He is the father of funk, which holds a huge part of my musical heart. His music brought about others like George Clinton, Parliament, Funkadelic, Bootsy Collins, Sly & the Family Stone, etc. His music is constantly sampled in rap (Funky Drummer for example). And he also is one of the best soul singers imo. So much respect for him. Plus, the man could move!
